AI Operating System

Operate by Design.

A self-paced course for business operators, owners, and leaders. Understand what AI is doing, establish a functioning ContextOS foundation on your own machine, and put it to work on something that matters to you. A$97.

Ask your AI what it knows about you

Open the AI app you already use and ask it what it knows about you. A few scattered facts may come back: a name, a job title, a preference mentioned once in passing. What will not come back is an account you could build on. Nothing you can open as a file, correct where it is wrong, hand to another tool, or point a new task at and say “work from this”.

A subscription buys access to intelligence, and access is no longer the scarce thing. What remains scarce is a way of working in which your knowledge, your standards, and your judgement stay available to the next task instead of evaporating when the conversation closes.

That is what this course is about. The question underneath it is personal before it is technical: what could this make possible in my business and my life, why has occasional use not settled that for me, and what would count as evidence I could trust?

What an AI operating system is

A template is a layout you fill in. An operating system runs other systems: your client work, your marketing, your planning, and whatever you build next, all drawing on the same context.

An AI operating system is the shared layer underneath those systems. Each of them needs context, direction, execution, and review. The operating system is where those needs are met once, so that no system has to rebuild them. A system for systems.

ContextOS is the implementation this course supplies. You will understand the architecture first, so that you can see what a foundation has to contain and what assembling one yourself would involve. Then you will establish ContextOS, shape it around your own purpose and standards, and inspect everything it holds.

Three outcomes, in order

Understanding

The word AI covers a forecast, a drafted email, and a system that performs actions on your behalf. These are different mechanisms with different possibilities. Leave able to tell them apart, explain why context and reusable capability matter more than the choice of app, and describe a foundation that serves many systems.

A functioning foundation that is yours

ContextOS connected, customised, protected, and verified on your own machine. The foundation is not the destination. It is what lets your time, effort, tokens, and money go towards outcomes rather than towards reconstructing infrastructure every time you want help.

Evidence of your own

Explanation and installation are not proof. Direct the system at something that matters to you: delegate an outcome to the supplied chief of staff, direct the creation of a capability you can use again, and judge the result against your own standards. Say what changed, what did not, and what you choose next.

The journey

Nine modules in six movements. The order is deliberate: the reasons come before the explanation, the explanation before the installation, and the installation before the evidence.

  • Welcome. The promise, the journey, and how to participate.
  • The reason to care. What greater capacity is for, in your business and your life. Nothing is installed here.
  • What AI is doing. Ordinary software as the reference point; model, application, tools, and execution; generation and conversation; reusable direction and why it needs a home.
  • From responses to execution and continuity. Deterministic and non-deterministic execution, AI-enabled and AI-driven workflows, delegation, memory, and retrieval.
  • The foundation. Feedback and the amplifying flywheel, the HumanAI framework by name, the system for systems, the burden of building one, and ContextOS as an existing implementation.
  • Establish ContextOS. Prepare, install, connect, customise, inspect, protect, recover, and verify. Separate paths for Claude Code and for Codex.
  • Author and delegate. Bring your own intent and standards into the foundation, make direction reusable, and delegate a task to the supplied chief of staff.
  • Create and reuse. Direct the creation of a capability, a converter from your notes to an on-brand PDF, judge it in use, retain it, and use it again.
  • What changed, and what next. Return to the questions you opened, with your own evidence in hand, and choose what to do next.

What you will need

Nothing needs to be bought or installed before the module that establishes the foundation. When you reach it, you will need:

  • A computer you control, running Windows, macOS, or Linux, on which you can install software and keep a folder in one place. On macOS the current release supports Apple Silicon (non-Intel) machines.
  • One of the two supported apps: Claude Code, running locally inside the Claude desktop app, or Codex, running locally inside the ChatGPT desktop app. Each requires a subscription that includes the local agent.
  • A willingness to open a terminal and paste a handful of commands. The lessons tell you what each one should print.

The practical lessons connect every step to a need already explained, and name the evidence that a step is complete. An assistant saying “done” is a claim. The result visible where it should appear is the evidence.

Who this is for

Business operators, owners, and leaders whose work depends on their thinking, planning, analysis, and communication, and who want AI to serve that rather than add to it. Some experience of AI helps but is not required. The course allows for a reader who has watched from the side as much as for one with a year of mixed results.

Where a capability is created, your part is describing what useful looks like, reviewing a proposed approach, inspecting the outcome, and directing refinement. No code is read or written by you; this is business enablement rather than developer training.

A marketing or automation system is an example of what you then build on the foundation. The course ends with the foundation functioning and one capability of your own in use.

How it is delivered

Self-paced, in text, through the Zentelligence client portal. Progress is kept, so the course can be taken over several sittings and resumed from where you stopped. The early modules ask you to think. The later modules ask you to act on the machine you will keep using, and to check the result.

A fictional case, a small studio preparing a weekly client update, is supplied for every exercise, so you can work through the course without bringing real client material into it.

Common questions

Do I need the Intensive, the Sprint, or the Build as well?

No. The course is complete on its own. Those are live, guided forms of support, described once at the end of the course for anyone who would rather not carry the next part alone. Each stands on its own, and none assumes you have done the others.

Do I need Prompt with Purpose first?

No. Nothing in this course depends on another course.

Which app should I choose?

Either supported app works. The principles are the same; the setup steps and interface differ, and the course carries both paths with separate headings where they diverge.

What is ContextOS?

The implementation of the foundation that this course supplies: a plugin for your chosen app, a local server that gives the assistant structured access to your knowledge, a local web view so you can see the same information, and a folder of plain files you own. The course explains what each part is for before you install it.

Will I leave with a complete marketing system?

You leave with a functioning foundational system-for-systems, direction you authored, a delegated task you reviewed, and one reusable capability. A marketing or client-delivery system is what you then build on it.

About Peter Johnson

Peter is the founder of Zentelligence, the creator of the HumanAI framework, and the designer of ContextOS. His background combines technology leadership with hands-on AI development that predates the current wave by more than a decade.

His approach starts with the operating question: what should AI do, what context does it need, and where should human judgement remain? The technology follows those decisions.
