Zentelligence is an advisory and coaching practice helping organisations and the leaders inside them make better decisions about technology and transformation. Its advisory work is grounded in more than 25 years of technology experience, including 15 years in technology leadership at organisations such as AMP and CBA. The perspective is practical and delivery-tested: leading programmes, shaping operating models, and solving complex problems where strategy had to become execution.
About Peter
I have spent more than 25 years in technology, from deep hands-on technical work through 15 years in leadership roles inside major organisations including AMP and Commonwealth Bank, across digital workplace, cloud, AI adoption, and enterprise platforms. I have managed business cases up to $300m, and have delivered programmes valued at over $10 million. I have held cross-disciplinary technology leadership roles, managed tier 1 vendor relationships, and led operating model work that sits underneath complex technology changes. These initiatives have produced significant cost and risk reductions, and in several cases fundamentally changed how people experienced the technology underpinning their work.
The advisory practice is built from that experience. Not from frameworks developed at a distance from the work. My interest in technology has been in the benefits it can bring to people, and my utopian vision has been simply “invisible technology”. This is the idea that people should be able to focus on achieving the outcomes they desire without thinking about how to accomplish it in this or that technology.
My engagement with AI predates the current wave by more than a decade. I have trained machine learning models, worked at the level of neural network architecture and code, and made the full transition from early CPU-bound frameworks to modern GPU-capable Python tooling. The experience of building with AI at a foundational level, rather than arriving at it from the outside, shapes how I approach adoption work now.
The second practice is Übermensch Coaching: for professionals and micro-business operators navigating the gap between the life they have built and the life they actually want. The methodology integrates identity work, nervous system regulation, and applied AI across 8 life areas.
The question underneath both practices is the same: are the structures you are operating in (the technology stack, the operating model, the way you have arranged your life) expressions of a deliberate design, or something inherited? The advisory work addresses that question at an organisational level. The coaching addresses it personally.
Are you operating by-design, or by-default?
